[Nagasaki's decadent meal] I had salt ramen with chili bean paste at Ryoma-ya, a Yokohama-style ramen shop!
This time, there was a lack of rain, including in Nagasaki city, but after going to an indoor pool on a weekend with heavy rain due to the typhoon, I visited "Ryoma-ya Higashi-Nagasaki"!
In conclusion, "I'm not eating Ryoma's ramen! I'm going there to indulge in the guilty pleasure of eating garlic and chili bean paste!"
I think most of you aren't going to Yoshinoya to eat their beef bowl, but rather to eat their pickled ginger.
Another example is someone who doesn't go to Ichiran to eat ramen, but rather to eat Ichiran for the purpose of "internal detoxification."
Similarly, I'm not going there to eat "Ryoma-ya's ramen," but rather to consume "garlic 🧄 and chili bean paste" (lol).
This time, because the entire Nagasaki prefecture was affected by the typhoon and it was raining heavily so we couldn't play outside, we went to "Nonoko Pool" in Isahaya City!
After a great swim with the whole family, we went to Ryoma-ya Higashi-Nagasaki, a Yokohama-style ramen restaurant in Nakazato-cho, Nagasaki City. 🚗💨

▼Now, let me introduce them!
This time, it was terrible with heavy rain all morning!
Since everyone in the family had the day off and nothing planned, we decided against just lounging around at home watching YouTube. Instead, we traveled to Isahaya City and went to " Nonoko Pool " to have a blast swimming!
And then, when asked what we wanted for lunch, we decided on ramen, and since "Ryoma-ya Higashi-Nagasaki Branch" was on our way back to Nagasaki city, we decided to visit it!
Luckily, the rain had subsided by then.
This is the interior of Ryoma-ya, a Yokohama-style ramen restaurant in Higashi-Nagasaki!
I visited around 1:00 PM this time and was able to get in without any trouble, but after that, customers kept coming in to eat the guilty pleasure meal (garlic 🧄 and chili bean paste) (lol).
It's also great that you can adjust the standard flavor to your liking!
• Noodle firmness (firm, regular, soft)
• Flavor intensity (strong, normal, mild)
• Amount of oil (more, normal, less)
As usual, I ordered it with the full MAX (noodle firmness: firm, broth richness: strong, amount of oil: extra)!
There are various toppings available, but I personally prefer the standard version with no toppings!
I don't have any specific requests for toppings like char siu pork being a must, or wanting a boiled egg, or wanting rice (lol).
This is the ticket machine!
Last time at Ryoma-ya, I had the "Jiro without soup" and was very satisfied, but this time I want to eat the standard "garlic and chili bean paste," but my family complains that I smell like garlic, so I'll switch to just having chili bean paste and order that!
My favorite is the "Salt Ramen (850 yen)"!
Soy sauce is good too, but once I tried it, I've been going for salt ever since!
The kids also love the "salt ramen"!!
Apparently, salt and soy sauce are different after all (lol).
My wife isn't a big fan of the ramen here, but she loves the "Tsukemen (dipping noodles) for 990 yen" (lol).
Even within a family, tastes differ 😆
Of course, everyone except me prefers garlic and chili bean paste in moderation, and loves ramen (lol).
This is it!!!
I didn't come here to eat ramen!!
I've said this many times before, but I came here to eat garlic and chili bean paste!!
The ramen is delicious too, though (lol)
Yokohama Iekei Ramen Ryoma-ya Higashi-Nagasaki branch's Tsukemen!!
The seafood flavor in the dipping sauce is fantastic!
My wife also loves the tsukemen here! 😆
I prefer it firm!
But am I the only one who thinks that Ryoma-ya Higashi-Nagasaki branch serves a lot of noodles?
You'll be more than full without ordering a large portion or extra noodles (lol).
I also have three sheets of nori seaweed, so I'll wrap them around the noodles and enjoy!
It's also a good idea to put chili bean paste inside the seaweed!
I'll add plenty of chili bean paste too!!
This also gives me a sense of transgression, which is fantastic!!
Wow, that was delicious!!
I was so tired after swimming, so the soup really hit the spot!
Ramen after exercise is absolutely the best!!
Nooooo!!
I was very satisfied again this time!!
I kept the garlic to a minimum, but it tastes great with just chili bean paste!
It's nice that my family doesn't have to tell me I smell like garlic! (lol)
I'll definitely come back to eat again!!!
Thank you for reading to the end!
I look forward to your continued support!
