This time, I went to Ichiran Dazaifu first thing in the morning
to coincide with my visit home for Obon , so I'll report on it, including the prices!
Conclusion: Last year on August 20, 2024, I posted a blog post stating that the Ichiran Dazaifu store menu price was 1,190 yen for ramen (980 yen) + extra noodles (210 yen). However, as of August 16, 2025, the Ichiran ramen set was 1,310 yen for ramen (1,080 yen) + extra noodles (230 yen)!!
I've visited this place many times before, and now the ramen is only 1,080 yen!
This time, I ordered the kids' ramen with my kids, and they
ate my ramen while I ate theirs, so I visited with my kids who love
Ichiran ramen!!

The morning sun was dazzling, and we visited around 6:30 AM on August 16th, 2025!
My favorite thing to do is go to a refreshing place in the morning to eat Ichiran Ramen!
The air is also fresh!!
Especially since I'm visiting my hometown for Obon, I've been
eating Obon feasts, eating and drinking lots of meat, sushi, sashimi,
and beer, so my body really craves ramen.
A bowl of Ichiran ramen costs 1,080 yen (tax included)!!
Extra noodles are 230 yen, and half extra noodles are 170 yen!
The Ichiran Ramen + extra noodles set is 1,310 yen (tax included)!!
Since 2024, Ichiran ramen has increased by 100 yen and extra noodles by 20 yen!
There's nothing I can do about it (lol)
But we Ichiran addicts can't help but want to eat it (lol).
Once you do that, you can take your seat!!
Usually it's just the kids, but this time my wife came along too (lol).

People often ask me, "Why don't you add green onions?", but
my second son says that the reason he doesn't add green onions is
because "the flavor of the onions would overshadow the soup."
I tried my second son's children's ramen, who is an
elementary school student, and transferred most of the chili pepper part
of that ramen to my own children's ramen, and this time I'm having the
children's ramen with green onions!
And, it's been a while since I've had a spicy 10 (lol)
Of course, I'll have an upset stomach after this (lol)

It's getting harder as my kids start eating more and more (laughs).
The amount of chili peppers is incredible (lol)
This oily and rich soup is the best!
Seriously, there's no shaking!!
It's a soup that you'll want to put in a water bottle and take home with you (lol).
The chashu is made from shoulder loin, and my wife said she prefers the old style with less fat.
I love both!
I like to eat chili peppers without dissolving them!
It's best to eat the noodles with a generous amount of the secret sauce on them!

My second son can also eat a little spicy food, so he orders extra noodles and eats them!
Of course, I ate the noodles and finished it all!
I ate the leftover soup from my second son!!
It was really delicious!!
Prices have risen, and the price has gone up by nearly 100
yen in a year, but Ichiran Ramen is definitely one you should try!!
I had a really fun time eating Ichiran ramen!
