[Pilgrimage] Saga Airport becomes "Saga Kingdom Airport"!? A review of this massive collaboration!

Hello, this is Noguchi Tsuyoshi from Noguchubu  (X account @ta0416 )!

This time, we decided to visit the Saga Prefecture's air gateway, Saga Kingdom Airport, which is collaborating with the Kingdom!

Conclusion: "Saga Prefecture went overboard (lol)! The Kingdom collaboration caused a huge buzz at Saga Airport! There were also a ton of tourists at Yomikazu Dam, showing just how popular Kingdom is! The event will run from January 27th to March 29th, 2026!"

There were so many cars from inside and outside the prefecture that the parking lot at Saga Airport was almost full!

This was a hot spot that fans coveted, where the popular manga and anime "Kingdom" teamed up with Saga Prefecture, so we'll review it here!

The event will run from Tuesday, January 27th to Sunday, March 29th, 2026!

🏯 The entire airport is decorated with "Kingdom" themes!
The first thing that overwhelmed me upon arriving was the world of "Kingdom" that spread throughout the entire airport!

Saga Airport is usually a calm and compact place, but right now it's bustling with activity, as if an army had invaded!

With free parking available, many fans from inside and outside the prefecture flocked to the event, and the excitement was so intense that some traffic jams occurred (laughs).

✨ 3rd floor special venue: The ultimate collaboration with Arita ware is so beautiful...
The special venue on the third floor, reached by escalator, is a highlight not to be missed!

On the third floor exhibition hall, there is a limited edition character plate on display that is a collaboration between Arita ware, a traditional craft that Saga is proud of around the world, and Kingdom!

You definitely have to see this!!

You can experience the beauty of Arita ware!

The sight of these popular characters, depicted with the delicate yet powerful touch that is unique to Arita ware, is truly breathtaking. I was so captivated by the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge entertainment that I lost track of time!

📸 Rooftop and interior: Every spot is photogenic!
Characters that look like they've jumped out of a manga panel will appear on the observation deck and throughout the building!

Pilgrimage: Saga Airport to become "Saga Kingdom Airport"

There are plenty of spots where you can take photos that make you feel like you're part of a story, and the entire airport is like a giant theme park!

We were also able to capture the plane taking off at just the right time, so be sure to check out the video!

📖 The legendary spot "Dokuhatei" is born!

About 15 minutes by car from the airport, in an area where you can feel the sea breeze of the Ariake Sea, a surprising new spot has opened. It's called "Yomiha Embankment"!

Famous scenes from the story are displayed along the embankment, so you can literally "walk while reading"!

Anecdotes:
In some scenes that are a little too provocative, they are mildly blurred out with "nori" seaweed, a specialty of the Ariake Sea, adding a touch of Saga-like humor (laughs).

The experience of revisiting famous scenes in a vast location was a luxurious experience that can only be had here😆

🟢 Saga Prefecture's PR is so "serious"!
Recently, Saga Prefecture and neighboring Nagasaki Prefecture have been developing unique collaborations with anime and manga one after another, which is really exciting!

At the Nagasaki Lantern Festival, they collaborated with "The Apothecary's Notes"...

This collaboration with "Kingdom" went beyond just an event and really made me feel "Saga's seriousness" (laughs).

Taking advantage of local tourism resources while also attracting new fans, we are looking forward to seeing more and more tourists in Saga in the future!
Thank you for reading to the end!

Thank you for your continued support!
