I went to the Saga International Balloon Fiesta for the first time in three years since 2023!
In conclusion, "The elegant sight of the balloons was breathtaking! We were lucky that the weather was good and the wind wasn't too strong! The traffic was getting worse every year (lol). I wanted to see the drone show!!"
I was really lucky that there was a balloon competition early in the morning on November 3rd!
I couldn't see it this time, but from what X said, the drone show was amazing! (lol)

I tried visiting from the north once, but the traffic jam coming off the highway made it impossible, so this time I'm visiting from the south!
It's recommended because you can get to the venue from the north side with relatively less traffic!
Also, if the wind gets too strong, the balloon competition can't be held, so that's also up to the weather (lol).

I wasn't able to visit last year, so I really wanted to come in 2026, and I'm glad the competition was held!
Incidentally, the event was canceled in 2024 due to flooding of the Kasegawa riverbed caused by heavy rain, so this is the first time in three years!
People are steadily pouring into the venue.
