[Osaka Trip Summary] This is a summary of my 2-night, 3-day trip to Osaka!
This is a summary of my trip, which started on the afternoon of October 16th, 2026, when I left Nagasaki City by car, went to Osaka, and returned to Nagasaki City on October 18th!
In conclusion, "It was a whirlwind trip, but it was a very meaningful 2-night, 3-day experience with many first-time experiences! 😆"
It was a whirlwind 2-night, 3-day trip, but we were able to experience so many things, including a ferry ride, a buffet dinner and accommodation, sightseeing at Osaka Castle, the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan and a face-changing show, a chair handstand performance, the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival, and local Osaka takoyaki!
If I had to say one thing I regret, it would be that I wanted to eat more Osaka food! But I really had a great time!

October 16, 2026
14:30 Departed from my home in Nagasaki City.

19:50 Departing from Shinmoji Port by boat! Heading to Osaka South Port.

8:50 Arrived at Osaka South Port

*Everyone is experiencing this for the first time.

11:15-12:40 Arrive at Kaiyukan Aquarium . Make a reservation and have a light meal at Tempozan Harbor Village , then enjoy the Chinese Acrobatic Troupe's performance and face-changing show.

*Grandma and the third son had their first experience.
↓
14:45-16:51 Arrive at the accommodation, take a short rest, and sightsee around Kyobashi Station.

17:00-17:30 Kyobashi Station → Osaka Station → Tsukamoto Station
↓
17:30-21:30 Participating in the " Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival " - Waiting at the venue to alleviate congestion.

21:30-22:55 Waiting for traffic congestion to ease around Tsukamoto Station

22:55-23:37 Tsukamoto Station → Osaka Station → Kyobashi Station → Accommodation

23:37 Arrived at the inn (lol) " Takoyaki Sakaba Creole Shinkyobashi Branch " Takoyaki for a late-night snack
Both Creole's "Salt Takoyaki" and "Sauce Takoyaki" were piping hot and delicious!
My second son really wanted to eat "Osaka-style takoyaki," so I'm glad we were finally able to get some! 😆

October 18, 2026
5:00-7:00 Stroll around Kyobashi Station in the morning.
↓
8:00-9:00 Breakfast at Matsuya Keihan Kyobashi near Kyobashi Station , followed by a stroll around the area.
↓
9:00-10:00 Rest at the inn and prepare to leave.
↓
10:00-10:15 Apparently, there was something he had visited the previous day that he regretted not buying, so he went to " Animate Kyobashi " and " BOOKOFF Keihan Kyobashi " to purchase it while waiting for the stores to open.
*The original plan was to stop by the Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda at 9:30 before heading home, but that has been changed (lol).

10:15 - We began our highway journey towards Nagasaki, stopping for a light meal at the Hiroshima Miyajima Service Area along the way.
↓
18:30 - Arrived at my wife's parents' house in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture, took a break, and had dinner.
↓
21:30 Arrived in Nagasaki
That's all!
Well, the drive home was tough, but it was fun! 😆
I'm glad I made it back from Osaka safely without any injuries or accidents (lol).
