[Nagasaki's decadent meal] I had "Jiro-style ramen without broth" at Ryoma-ya, a Yokohama Iekei ramen shop, and finished it off with garlic and chili bean paste!
This time, for a Nagasaki-style indulgent meal, I ordered
the "Jiro-style soupless ramen" at Yokohama Iekei Ramen Ryoma-ya
Nagasaki branch, and added garlic and chili bean paste to finish it off!
😆
In conclusion, "I usually order ramen at Ryoma-ya, but I tried the 'soupless Jiro' for the first time and the feeling of guilt was amazing!! I can only eat it when I have the next day off (because I'll smell of garlic), but I was extremely satisfied!"
This time, I took a drive to the southern area of Nagasaki!
Since I had the day off tomorrow, I visited "Yokohama Iekei Ramen
Ryoma-ya Nagasaki Branch"!
This time, I'm taking on the challenge of ordering a "Ramen Jiro-style" ramen at Ryoma-ya for the first time!
I'm not a big fan of the extra vegetables and garlic in
Jiro-style ramen, so I haven't actively eaten it. However, this time, I
saw the words "Jiro-style soupless ramen" and decided to try something
other than my usual "salt ramen," and it was a great choice!
I wanted to share this because this "guilty pleasure meal" was right up my alley!
Also, I was glad that it wasn't like Ramen Jiro's extra-large
servings of cabbage and bean sprouts, or extra-large servings of minced
garlic!
▼Now, let me introduce them!
This is the exterior of Ryoma-ya Nagasaki, a Yokohama-style ramen restaurant!
If you head towards Nomozaki on National Route 499, you'll find it along the way!
I visited around 2:00 PM this time, and there were a lot of cars parked there!
Like me, I imagine there are many people who want to "consume
a lot of garlic" since it's Saturday and tomorrow is a day off!
This is the ticket vending machine menu for Ryoma-ya Nagasaki, a Yokohama-style ramen shop!
I thought I'd try the "Jiro-style ramen without broth" on the
top right for the first time in a while... and ordered it with that
kind of feeling!
My wife ordered the "limited-time tsukemen (dipping noodles)"!
I ordered the soupless Jiro-style ramen for 980 yen at Ryoma-ya Nagasaki, a Yokohama-style ramen shop!
It seems there's no customization option; you can't choose your preferences when ordering.
On the other hand, I think it was good that they didn't offer extra vegetables.
Yokohama Iekei Ramen Ryoma-ya Nagasaki Branch: Soupless Jiro-style Ramen for 980 yen!
You can't choose your preferences, so this is what you'll get (lol).
Here comes a decadent meal drenched in raw egg and pork fat! 😆
First, we performed the mixing ritual and mixed it thoroughly!!
The raw egg mixes in nicely, creating a visually appealing, decadent dish that really whets the appetite!
First, I'll have it just the way it is, standard style!
good!!!
Jiro-style ramen without broth, with thick noodles!!!
Wow, that's really thick!!
The elasticity is amazing!!
And then... "It's an absolutely amazing taste!!! 😆"
This is truly a "guilty pleasure"!
This was absolutely delicious, exactly to my liking!!!
And my favorite condiments, garlic and chili bean paste!!!
I was also happy that it didn't have minced garlic, which is just how I like it!
Add the garlic and chili bean paste seasonings!!!
This change in flavor is what makes this "guilty pleasure meal" so perfect!!
This is seriously finished (lol)
▼Wife's order: Tsukemen (dipping noodles) 990 yen
I also tried the limited-time tsukemen (dipping noodles) for
990 yen at Ryoma-ya Nagasaki, a Yokohama-style ramen shop, and the
seafood broth was absolutely amazing!
If it were me, I would add garlic and chili bean paste to
this as well, but my wife enjoyed it without adding any (lol).
Nooooo!!
I've got another new source of fun!
Here are some of the good points about this "Jiro-style ramen without broth":
- It wasn't extra vegetables → I don't have the stomach capacity to eat that many vegetables.
- It wasn't minced garlic → I prefer grated garlic.
- Less pork fat → They're health-conscious (lol)
・I would have preferred raw eggs → I love raw eggs 😆
While the above conditions were certainly met, I think I'll
continue to go eat "Jiro-style ramen without broth" whenever I want to
recharge my energy!
Thank you for reading to the end!
I look forward to your continued support!
