Places I went to in 2024 and my impressions! #travel #tourism
This time, we've summarized the trips we took outside of Nagasaki Prefecture in 2024!
Conclusion: "This year, 2024, I was able to go to many different places and have fun! The year went by so quickly (lol). I'll do my best to continue experiencing many different things!"
▼Let us introduce it to you!
Kumamoto Castle
This was my first visit to Kumamoto Castle since the Kumamoto earthquake in April 2016!
The restoration of Kumamoto Castle's famous Musha-gaeshi stone wall is still only half-way complete.
However, you can learn about the history of Kumamoto Castle,
so it is a very educational and recommended tourist spot!
There is also a new spot called Sakuranobaba Josaien where you can purchase souvenirs!
Kumamoto City Zoological and Botanical Gardens
I visited this place for the first time in about 20 years, a place I first visited when I was in high school!
My memories of that time are a bit hazy, but most things have remained the same, so it brought back memories.
It took about an hour and a half to go around the whole park, and the kids had fun too, so it was great!
Kamenoi Hotel Aso
The hotel's location, hot springs, and food buffet were all great!
What was especially good this time was the crab and roast beef at the buffet!
There were also many other foods that the kids liked, so it was a really fun time!
In addition, the starry sky at night was incredibly beautiful! This is one hotel I want to visit again!
Asokusasenri and Aso Volcano Museum
I wanted to ride a horse at Kusasenri, but it turned out that you can't ride a horse in the winter (lol)
Instead, we went to the Aso Volcano Museum.
There was a video showing about the caldera which was very educational!
There are also some really nice shops that have been built at the roadside station.
Aso Daikanbo
It was a breathtaking view!
It takes less than 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot
to reach Daikanbo, so be sure to come and see the spectacular view!
It's also a mecca for bikers, so there were a ton of bikes!
The ice cream we had with this spectacular view was also really delicious.
Greenland
I visit here every year when the Tamahome Fireworks Festival is held!
So, we decided to have fun right from the morning! We had a lot of fun!
One thing I discovered this year is that my eldest daughter
loves roller coasters, so I'm hoping to spend next year having fun with
her on roller coasters!
I'm looking forward to next year!!
Genkai Energy Park
I visited Genkai Energy Park by myself when I was 25 years old, so this was my first visit there since then!
Electricity will continue to be essential in the future, so
we had fun visiting and teaching the kids a lesson at the same time!
The Kyushu Furusatokan Museum is located next door, and it
is a place where you can enjoy Kyushu's traditional crafts and
intangible cultural assets for free!
Fukuoka City Zoological and Botanical Gardens
This was my first visit here in 10 years!
It took about 3 hours and 30 minutes to tour the zoo and
botanical gardens counterclockwise, but there have been a lot of
renovations and it looks like it will be a fun place to play with
children!
Ten years ago we went clockwise, but this time we went
counterclockwise, but if you want to mainly visit the zoo and take a
break at the botanical gardens, I think going counterclockwise is
better!
Yuri's Live at the West Japan General Exhibition Center New Building
I went to a live concert for the first time in 20 years!
I'd been following Yuri's activities on YouTube since before
COVID-19, but it was moving to see her grow to the point where she can
perform a solo concert in such a large venue!
Of course the singing was great too, the live performance was amazing!
The screen quality at recent live shows is amazing!
It can display anything, so that was really impressive!
<Summary>
This year too, we had a lot of fun visiting various places!
It's been a really good 2024!
However, recently I haven't been able to travel far because of my children's club activities and events.
In 2025, I would like to go on a trip by plane or something!
Thank you for this year too🙇
